Isabella (Boo) McDaniel is the owner of Stepping Stone Lodge and Pony Farm. She loves having folks come to enjoy the lodge and the farm. It is her pleasure and privilege to share the farm upon which she grew up. You may find her in the office, or teaching in the ring, or driving her favorite horse down the road, or working in the garden. She usually has a smile on her face and is ready to sit and hear how your day is going!

Kelly Eshback is our Lodge Manager.  Kelly comes with a world of experience in Guest Services. She is an excellent cook, runs a ‘tight ship’ for a kitchen, and is always ready to serve her guests just what they want. She has catered countless weddings and specialty parties. She has also worked at different high end restaurants, learning all their best trade secrets. Kelly is the woman who makes the lodge work for YOU!

Kathleen Popores is the Lodge Assistant Manager.  Kathleen is the other key ingredient to the success of the lodge. She is right with Kelly every step of the way preparing meals, finding just the right local ingredients, baking those homemade pies and insuring that the coffee is always hot and ready. She too joins us with lots of experience in the food service and catering industry. Best of all she is a mother of many children, so she knows how to keep things organized!

Office staff for Reservations, Cleaning and Wait Staff are all at the ready to be of service to you and your group. Local friends and neighbors help us make sure we have the right number of servers for a larger group, the wood ready for the fireplace at night or your bed made upon arrival. We are very confident that you will feel well cared for, indeed, during your stay at Stepping Stone Lodge.
